Shanghai Disney Resort Opens to the Public

Shanghai Disneyland Resort opened to the public on Thursday June 16, 2016. Its theme is "Authentically Disney but distinctly Chinese."

The Disney in China has no Main Street, U.S.A., it has the Garden of the Twelve Friends instead it features 12 signs of the Chinese zodiac are depicted by popular Disney and Disney Pixar characters.

Shanghai Disneyland main attraction is the Enchanted Storybook Castle, the largest castle in Disney history and the "crowning jewel" of the park. It's the only theme park castle dedicated to all Disney princesses. The castle boast the first Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique princess makeover experience and Once Upon a Time Adventure, a large-scale experience focused on the story of Snow White.
