When the summer heatwave hits Shanghai, there's no better place to beat the heat than Shanghai Disneyland! Ugh, sometimes the heat is just unbearable. The good thing is, their "Summer Splash" event is full of thrills, chills and definitely some spills as you splash down water rides, enjoy concerts and shows, and meet your favorite Disney characters donning their coolest summer styles.
From July 8th to August 31st, head to the Enchanted Storybook Castle where Mickey and pals will greet you with waves of music and water fountains. Duffy and friends will float by on a raft, spraying you with cool mists of water as they cruise past. On weekends, get ready for an "electrified" performance from Wreck-It Ralph and his arcade crew. However, if you're like me who's not fond of huge crowd, weekdays would be better.
At Farmer Al's Splash-Around in Toy Story Land, you'll find misters and pop jets galore to keep you cool and soaked. Jump on Rex &Trixie's dinosaur-themed ride - the splashing and zipping will surely send your spirits soaring. Over in Treasure Cove, Captain Jack Sparrow and his pirates promise waves of swashbuckling fun and non-stop splashing.
So grab your swimsuits, hats, and sunscreen and make a splash at Shanghai Disneyland's "Summer Splash" event! Whether you're riding Dumbo's new magical flight or racing through the mine in Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, you're sure to have a summer you'll never forget under the sun and splash of Shanghai Disneyland magic.
